Misconduct/Disciplinary or Grievance

  • Undertaking disciplinary or grievance investigations and the production of a resulting investigation report for the business. Followed, if and as required, by presentation at any subsequent Hearing or Appeal.
  • On average Richard undertakes two significant investigations each year, generally related to allegations made against senior staff where it is not possible or ideal to be investigated in-house and/or where there is not the in-house capacity or capability within the business.


Reviews (management / organisational / process) undertaken have included:

  • How to turn around a failing team of 30 employees
  • Why the sickness and turnover rates of a business were so high
  • The Critical Care pathway for a large acute NHS Trust
  • The structure and ways of working of an HR department
